Drawing it out

October 23, 2:15am

Late one night in a burst of creative energy, I decided to write all over myself to explore what “design diary” meant to me. It was a personal experiment, and one intended to draw out my innermost thoughts and feelings of what my own design diary might feel like. It was also 2am, and I was slightly delusional.

What this experiment taught me is that when you're feeling lost in a design, you need to find a way to make it personal. I reached a point with my Design Diary where I felt like I was losing sight of its purpose. Writing all over myself helped me to refocus and recenter, a reminder of what compelled me to create a Design Diary in the first place.
